There are few universities that offer undergraduate or graduate degrees specifically in imaging science. “Imaging” is usually offered as through inter-disciplinary study or an emphasis within a broader program, such as physics, engineering, computer science, optics, photography, chemistry, etc. Consequently, it can be difficult for persons new to the field to find a university with strong programs of study and research in an imaging science or technology-related area appropriate to their area of interest.
The listing below represents IS&T’s efforts to build a resource of educational institutes that offer imaging-related programs. While we have done our best to include all such programs, if you know of any that are missing, please send the appropriate information to info@imaging.org. We welcome your contributions.
